As long as I can remember, I was never a healthy child. I was diagnosed with ADHD, food allergies, eczema, depression, and anxiety. The struggle to maintain balance physically, mentally, and emotionally was constant, and my immune system always faltered. These conditions followed me into my teen years and early adulthood, as they typically do when they aren’t addressed.
Looking back at that sick little girl, I desperately wish someone had stepped in to offer the guidance I know would change her entire life. At 22, I started to eat differently, focusing on nutrition for mothers by choosing organic produce, well-sourced meats, and adhering to the demands of my food allergies. The difference was immediate and significant—significant enough to turn that self-taught knowledge into a legitimate education.
Now, as a certified Nutrition Consultant, I am determined to provide guidance in women's health nutrition for mothers, parents, and children to transform their health for the long-term. It is my hope that these practices continue to be shared among families, especially during pregnancy nutrition, to protect the bodies and minds of the coming generations.
